This month I am shining a
spotlight on the Branch Opening Project Plan which was
created by Jenn McGlynn of Mariner’s Bank and is now available for purchase
on the cbanc network. Jenn is a banker who has been in the trenches and
understands the pressures bankers face on a day to day basis. Her
responsibilities include managing IT, Project Management, Security,
Marketing and other roles for her bank. Sound familiar?
Fortunately Jenn is highly organized
and willing to share one of her most valued pieces of work. Over the past
few years Jenn has been opening new branches from scratch. To help manage
these endeavors, she developed a Branch Opening Project Plan. Created in
Microsoft Project, her plan outlines 400 critical tasks ranging from bank
approvals to construction task items, to interior design and computer
installations to buying the coffee for the branch!

minimal headaches.

Need advice on a banking issue? Don’t
forget you can post a “Question” in the “Answers” application under cbanc
Exchange. You will get fast and substantive responses from your peers. Also,
answer someone else’s question promptly with a strong answer, and you will
likely get paid by them for your knowledge.

Each month we will put a call out for a
specific type of content. Any cbanc member who uploads content related to
that topic by the 30 day deadline will earn 250 points per upload (cbanc
must approve the content). This month's call is for any content related to
Reg E and your content must be uploaded by July 8 to qualify for the 250
