Regulatory Deadlines Spark Banker Collaboration
The recent deadlines around
Reg GG and the NACHA ACH Risk change have spiked record content trades in
cbanc! Banks who posted their ACH Risk Policy and/or Reg GG policies in
cbanc have sold so many copies to other members that they have experienced
a windfall in value—earning lots and lots of cbanc Points. For example, a
$350 million community bank sold their Reg GG policy over 26 times.
If you still need
assistance with either the NACHA rule change or Reg GG, there are a

cbanc Tips
How to Increase the Sale of Your Content
Here are just a couple of
tips that can help make sure you are getting maximum value for the content
you are willing to share on the cbanc Network.
1.
Give a very full description of your content.
Other banks want to know the following type of information:
- Was it board approved?
- Was it reviewed by legal
department?
- Has it made it through an
exam?
- Describe how much effort
went into the content.
2.
Provide a preview of your content. You are much more likely
to sell your content if members can see a small excerpt of it, usually
Table of Contents and a page or two will suffice.
3.
Use relevant keywords. Come up with as many
relevant keywords as you can so that other bankers can find your content.
If you post something like a Reg E policy, your keywords would be: “Reg E,
ODP, Overdraft, Protection”, etc.
4.
Associate your content to all relevant categories. The
more categories it is in, the more users will get an email notification.
