Are we required to send a notice to all IRA customers that they have the option to waive their RMD?
- I don't believe you HAVE to contact them. We chose to contact each one individually via phone to let them know.
You certainly don't need to contact all IRA customers only those who are or will be in RMD.
As far as previous year contributions being extended past April 15, that would be a marketing idea to bring in more deposits, if you so choose.
